Existing Conditions Assessment of Dharumavantha School Building

The assessment of this building was carried by Civeng for the requirement of the developer of Holiday Inn Hotel building (now Jen Hotel) near Dharumavantha School.

This building built with concrete structure, however, concrete was produced using locally available aggregates (coral aggregates) hence corrosion of reinforcement was prominent at that stage.

We carried out documentation of existing conditions of the building also installed crack monitoring devices. During pile foundation construction of Holiday Inn hotel, we monitored vibrations exposed this building using seismograph installed on this building.
Note: This building is now demolished and a parking lot is built.
